for some reason i can not turn my alarm off - is there a simple fix for this - i have done lots of reading but cant find anything running 10.3.0.700 - please help

Sell your alarm and buy a BlackBerry!
Oh, you talking about the alarm on your blackberry? Is it a leaked OS? Battery pull and then set alarm for an immediate future time (like 2 mins from the current time) and check. Same issue, do a hard reset and try again. If that doesn't solve it you will need to restore to last good OS or factory settings after backing up your data

700 is a developer os...download an alarm bar on your pc and install it...(sideload it)

10.3.0.700 is known for having an alarm issue. If you perform a clean install you are not able to add and activate an alarm, if you restore, you get your previous alarms, but can't change or delete them. I recommend to always read the thread before installing a leak, this bug has been discussed in the 10.3.0.700 thread many times
