    I'm unable to launch BBM on my Z30. Ipad works fine. 2 weeks now with "temporary server error" message. Hard reset does not work. Any ideas?

    Might be an issue with the account you have logged in.

    Are you using the same BBID for all the devices?

    Try reloading BBM bar file or If you don't know how to do that, delete and re download from bbw.

    Load any older bbm version then restart your phone. After that check BlackBerry World and install the updated BBM.
    I was also having some issues with BBM, then I tried the above method and it worked for me.

    I would just reload the bar file.

    What os are you running and what phone? Do you know how to side load using either sachesi or Chrome?

    BBM doesn't let you use the same BBID on different devices without "switching" devices.

    Solved - sort of.

    Have a Z10 spare so I started that up and it said the BB ID was associated with another device. Then gave me the option to switch to the new (Z10) device which I did and all worked fine on the Z10. I then repeated the process on the Z30 and it transferred back so now all is ok.

    I suspect this is a bug with the Ipad app which does not release the BBID.

    Started up the Ipad and launched BBM. It correctly allowed me to switch device. Then did the same on my Z30 and it correctly transferred back.

    Perhaps the ID issue is caused only by the 1st install of the app on the Ipad.

    It's not a bug...BlackBerry will only send BBM to ONE DEVICE AT A TIME. PERIOD. IT IS SET UP THAT WAY. PEROID. If you create a different bbid for each device you will get messages on those...period. It ain't gonna change.

    It's a bug when you start BBM on another device and it just throws up an error instead of giving you the option to switch. Have you encountered this on any other multi platform app such as Facebook, Twitter etc? I doubt it. So why BBM?

    I've had this happen on my Q10 and all I did was close app and re-open. Then it opened fine allowing my to switch devices.
