My father lives in Nova Scotia And is looking into upgrading from a 9900 to the Z30. He went to 3 stores in Antigonish and they told them there was a 3 Month back order for that phone. Why is BlackBerry pulling out if the retail stores and not having some stock ready to ship? Even Future Stop near me has no BlackBerry phones out on display.

Anyone she's some light on this?

Have him order one online through Bell or call Bell customer service. Make sure he orders a Micro-Sim card too

if he isn't trying to get one on contract, get an unlocked one from Amazon or shopblackberry.com.

Ebay has great deals not sure if amazon is better... but shopblackberry.com has amazing deals sometimes too. I hardly buy any electronics from stores in general these days I just amazon everything to my door.

After the Playbook and Z10 debacles, BB is really controlling inventory on their devices to avoid more fire-sales.. So its not surprising that there is a backlog for this device, given its increasing popularity.

I call BS, Bell is paying for adds to sell these phones, the local seller not intersted in selling the phone. Order online from Bell or BB.

They are out there , the price is holding as well. Bell has them, phone and order it

BlackBerry Z30 LTE 4G from Bell Mobility | Bell Canada ... but the price is too high, My wife just got one on Rogers for $50, 2 yr contract, the list it for $600. Can get it from BB for $400 should be able to get 20-25 off usual monthly fee

My bell rep told me they were on back order when I tried to get a replacement phone when mine broke. I think there was just a miniscule number of these phones in the channel in the first place. 3 months is BS though. Maybe a week or two before they can get a other one

My wife got one from wireless wave. Had to get it from another shop out of province. Had to avoid multiple up selling and messing up Rogers plans but worked out ok in the end
