    If this had already been covered I apologize in advance...
    Every time I update the OS I end up having over a years worth of Facebook notifications to clear out of the Hub. Can anyone enlighten me as to how to prevent this?

    Don't allow Facebook to live in the hub. Go to hub settings, then scroll down until you see Facebook and disable it
