Has anyone tried to sideload this app?

Its called APK Downloader Extension and will apparently hook into any sideloaded Android browsers. You can then go to the Play Store in this browser and it will download the app for you.

I haven't been able to try it because I don't have access to my Playbook for the next few days. Would be interesting to see if it worked.

Interesting, but you still need to convert and sideload the app. But might be an easier way to source apks for some. Would be interesting to hear if it actually works out.
