Full disclosure, it's an android app.

So today my Z10 let me know about 10 zillion times that 'Device Storage Almost Full'. I had just about 1GB left of my device memory. I searched for a while and didn't find any info that was of much use. I cleaned up about a gig from my recorded phone calls (also an android app). I am sure most of us know by now that it's not quite possible to access the SD card for the purposes of saving data from an Android app. We also know that all apps regardless of the source gets installed on the device memory.

I thought I'd give Clean Master a shot, it was the first result on Snap. I was very pleasantly surprised. It cleaned my system cache and freed up another additional 1.5gigs. Here's the clincher, I thought I'd try something potentially risky. The app let me know that I could move most of my 67 android apps to my SD card. I did this in two batches. It worked! I haven't checked all the apps after the move but I tried a few and they are working as of now. After all of that now I have more than 4 gigs free. Thoughts?

I hope this works on Z3 too and it will be a life saver as Z3 has only 8G internal memory.

Thanks a ton! Btw, have you tested all the apps after moving them to SD card?

Not yet, but some of them are working, one worked the first time then crashed the second time but I don't know if it has to do with the move, even if it works for most apps it will be useful. Lets see! Glad it helps you a bit.

The app is actually called, "Clean Master." I've used it since I first saw it on my Galaxy S2 a couple years ago.

    Thanks man!
I regularly use it to clean, but have sworn off moving apps to my SD card since it broke the 3 apps I moved back on 10.2.0

Might have try again and see of it works for all now

I was hoping this application would allow me to remove some files (.temp) from the downloads folder. And it worked, awesome! The regular File Manager would not allow me to remove them.

Thanks for the tip, this is exactly what I was looking for.

So far for me it's been a 50/50. Some of the moved apps didn't work snap wanted to update them. So I did it now they work but I dunno if snap just reinstalled them on the device memory, gotta look into it!

I have just seen your post dear itsme rano, but the app you posted about, seems to no longer in BlackBerry World Apps library.

I found this on its own (pic below)

I'm going to give this a try. I was using avg cleaner but it doesn't want to clean all my android app so will see if this cleans more.

Does anybody know of a good cache cleaner that will clean bb10 apps?

My biggest memory hog was the CB app. I deleted it and reinstalled with no loss of bookmarks etc and it freed up a ton of space... I'm not brave enough to load apps on my SD card but I have all my photos, music, movies, and phone recordings.
