First let me start by saying I am light years behind in technology. Ha.

I am considering picking up a Surface 3 to replace my Laptop. I take a lot of pictures with my DSLR camera and an stumped at how you could get the pictures off the cards.

Is there a way to unload the cards on to an external hard drive maybe?

There is only a micro SD card reader on the surface, along with USB.

    Thanks.

You could use the Surface's USB port and connect the camera. Surface 3 Pro runs full Windows 8.1 so will use the normal camera drivers. Should work fine, just as with a laptop.

I can't believe I didn't think of that. Haha thanks! So used to doing it the other way!

I better go have another coffee.
