Wanted to share that I have had success setting up my Z10 to download torrents and playing not only MP4 but also AVI and WMV using Android Video Player.

Not all Torrent apps work... installed bit torrent, utorrent... but tTorrent works best. Then go get torrent file using browser, and download it. Then you open the torrent file in tTorrent app to download the data. For movies, I found Android Video Player handles the non-standard formats if needed.

I will make a video showing how it is all done but basically you can do it all on the go. Disclaimer: info for educational purposes only, not condoning piracy... Please follow the copyright laws in your jurisdiction.

Thanks! Got the main version of Vlc from video labs and Mxplayer, they work well. Also tried Flud and it is a nice alternative. For whatever it's worth, even though native apps would have been preferred, we have to thank the geniuses at BlackBerry who had the foresight to integrate the Android runtime, as well as Python3.2.

I tried MXplayer and VLC and I cannot access my external SD Card storage with those players. With Android Video Player I can browse over to the root / and then into /mnt and /mnt/sdcard, and then finally into a folder called /mnt/sdcard/external_sd which gives me my SD card storage. I couldn't figure out with the other 2 players how to get complete uncluttered access to the file-system, especially the external SD card storage.

I use tTorrent Pro. I logged into the Google Play Store on my browser and bought it for like $5. Then went into Snap and downloaded my new purchase for the latest version. Love it! It works brilliantly.

I use Kalemsoft Media Player from BBW for all my movies.
