Ok this was a shocker to me, when by mistake I clicked on BlackBerry maps and it showed my exact location.

For people outside India, just to give you the background, BlackBerry maps never worked for India, only a blue dot used to come in India's map which was completely blank white screen.

But now its LIVE. And more shocking thing is why there is no advertising campaign on this big step. I searched on net and found out that this launched just a day ago with BlackBerry z3 launch.

The India maps needs to be refined though, as it is not pin point accurate few times, but I must thank BlackBerry for this great step, Keep moving. Like me many others will also be highly satisfied with this update.

Do you have any more inside information about BlackBerry having any plans of updating their Maps app, currently its lacking many details.

Which app do you use for navigation?
