We all know that there are limitations in 10.3.0.700 because it is a Developer OS. But, if you follow this procedure, you will have an OS that has almost all the features working.

Doing this will result in a HUB with Triage mode working and a camera with all options, including Panorama. The only things that don't work are Universal Search/Voice Assistant and Remote File Access. There may be others but I have not encountered them or forgot.

These are the step:

1. Install 10.3.0.296. This step is not needed if you are already on 10.3.0.296.

2. Connect your BlackBerry to BlackBerry Link and do a custom backup. Back up "Settings" only.

3. Install 10.3.0.700.

4. In Link, restore the custom backup of Settings that you did in Step 2. The device will reboot.

5. Using Chrome or Sachesi, install the package of .10.3.0.296 bars that are missing from 10.3.0.700.

6. Using Link, once again restore the custom backup of Settings. I don't know if it is necessary to do this again but I did it and it didn't do any harm.

7. When you reboot, add accounts and apps as you would normally.

Actually I just checked and it IS integrated.

Maybe it is from today's bar leak but it is working.

No.

But, if you set the alarm in 10.3.0.296 and then backup up after the alarms are set and then restore from that backup, those alarms will work, or so I am told.

I don't think we can do anything about the alarm but the ringer issues are fixable. Did you load the bars leaked yesterday?

Another thing to try is to change your notification profile to something else. Then shut down the phone. Upon restart, change the notification profile to the one you want. It should now work.

I have a Z30 and I don't have a ringtone for an incoming call either. Email notifications work (I did the restore), but nothing for the phone calls. Even if I change my profile to vibrate - vibrate works for other notifications, just not calls. Anyone with ideas?
