    5", 720p, 8MP camera, 2.4Ghz Wifi only. It's basically a 5" Z10 which costs much less to manufacture.

More like a cheaper Z30. Same radio as the Z30 (8960AB), no HDMI.

Probably less RAM and storage space, and most likely built by Foxconn.

If BlackBerry can manage to sell this device for 300 US dollars out right. They could sell a decent amount and get to there goal of 10 million devices sold.

The Z10 goes for 300 dollars in the United States now. The Z10 is a little more powerful than the Z3. So the new Z3 would have to be less than 300.

True, but it offers more than the Z10. I would buy the Z3 than the Z10 due to the screen and battery alone

With all the spec geeks in NA,it would never sell at 300$ when you can get a Nexus 5 for 325$

At 200$ outright they would sell like hot cakes simply because of the screen size

Why? The high end was always codenamed Ontario not Manitoba, not sure where this idea came from.

Yeah I agree 300 for NA market might be to high. I doubt they will price it at 200, it should come in at $249 outright and then $0 with subsidy.

It would have to be priced at 200.00 or it wouldn't sell here. Even at 200 dollars, without any advertising or carrier support, it would die on the vine.

FYI, here in the the US, the price of the mobile phone doesn't weigh that much in purchasing decisions.

It should come in at 150 and if it did would challenge the Motorola G. I just have a feeling it's going to be 249. But hey maybe BlackBerry will prove me wrong.

What a disappointment. If they don't either release a new top end all touch, or lower the Z30 price to something justified by the internals, my Z10 will be my phone until it dies then I'll likely have to switch to something else. Not like the BlackBerry "ecosystem" has me tied to them now, especially since I could migrate my BBM over to iPhone or Android. The workarounds, side loading, emulators, PKB focus, etc. simply are just not worth it or inspiring confidence that BlackBerry has popped the Waterloo distortion bubble.

The 8. Gig Motor G is no competition for this phone at those specs. The G is only a 3 g phone. And 4.5 inch screen at 720P, the price is $179.00. Find different comparisons something in the same class

In the entry level space it is all about price. And people like sharp screens on one side it will say 720p and people may not even know what that means but will be like oh nice. I haven't seen a z3 so have no idea how nice the screen is.

And the Motorola also has a quad core processor vs a dual core on the z3.
