I have at home 3 different wifi networks, but I am trying to figure out if there is a way for my Q10 how to prefer the network with strongest signal :/

Because it is still connected to previous network, even if the signal is so weak and it ignores the wifi which has the best signal.

    Any suggestions?

Just for the info, my samsung galaxy tab 8.0 is changing the networks correctly

I tell mine to forget the one I don't want to connect to and then don't input the password so it won't connect.

Get into the list of known/saved wifi.

Move your preferred up the list to the top, and weaker ones to the bottom.

While in there delete any crap, like the hotel wifi you used last summer and will never use again.

Thank you for advice, but this does not help :/

The problem is, phone is holding to the network even when there is another one with full signal

My advice works. Get in the list and delete the ones you don't want.

    That's not his point.

Same thing happens with me. I have two wifi access points in my house. It will grab whichever one is higher on the priority list regardless of which one is stronger in the area of the house I'm in.

This is a real pain. I could be standing right beside one router, and it will grab one bar connection from an access point across the house.

It is a priority list, not a signal strength list. It works as designed.

    1st world problems, you have.

Yes it is a priority list. No kidding. We are just hoping for a way to disable priority list to allow connections based on signal strength.

The entire Crackberry forum is first world problems. You only want us to ask for suggestions if we're starving?

Have you tried to enable the inter-access point handover option on all of those 3 networks?

Yes. But since I have 2 distinct SSIDs and channels , it doesn't help.
