    Can we all give some love to a leather back door and how much we'd like one on the Classic?

    The leather on the 9000 and my first BlackBerry, the 9790, is one of the highlights of those phones IMO. Since the Classic is going back to its roots, bring back the leather and all the nostalgia that goes with it!

    Proper leather yes but not the cheap plastic leathery print like on the BlackBerry 9000 please

    As I've said in other posts, I loved my 9000 with it's leather back cover that added a touch of class to a very top notch phone and made it stand out from all the rest. I hope that they listen to all the BlackBerry fans and add it to the Classic

    I would love to see a leather back on the Classic.
    It would definitely give it a premium quality feel.
    I think we should all reach out to third party manufacturers and let them know there is a demand for a quality accessory battery cover done up in leather. I have sent email to both Vaja and Tetded. They have plenty of time between now and November to develop a product ready for the launch of the Classic. They just need to know there is are customers willing to buy.

    Exactly. That's why I thought of Vaja and Tetded. They both have a reputation of using premium leather and not cheap vinyl.

    Roots is another well know Canadian company that is know for their quality leather products.
    They have made cases for BB phones in the past. It would seem natural for these two companies to team up to create a quality leather back for the Classic.

    I wouldn't like it as I avoid leather whenever I can (vegan lifestyle).
