Not the screen. I'm talking about the phone overall.

Well, not really because on the Vu the keyboard ends up taking up 1/2 of the screen. On the Passport you get all of that screen real estate and a keyboard, and also, it is more appropriately sized being almost 0.4" narrower than the Vu.

    More like 3:4.
    Has a 5-inch XGA (768 x 1024 / 256ppi) IPS LCD panel.

What are the exact dimensions of the Passport? Have the official specs leaked yet? How do you know it's 0.4" narrower?

Never heard of this LG Phone. BlackBerry seems to make more noise with the Passport though, in part due to the fact that they don't have as much phones as LG.

Yea when I first saw the phone I thought about the lg vue. I've never played with the vue before but I've always thought a phone that size should be great for texting, emailing, document editing, etc. I definitely can't wait to try it out!

the screen size of passport is 4,5" x 4,5" with resolution 1440 x 1440, the different is, passport screen is 1:1 and LG is more like 4:3 even though the total size is almost the same, for a full touch device I still prefer 16:9 ratio...

Screen size is diagonal, so 4,5" diagonal on a 1:1 screen makes 3,18" for sides.
