I was wondering if anybody here has has the issue of being able to log through activesync since upgrading the os? I've tried to do everything possible in the book to be this working. Re-installing, security wipe, pulling the battery... for some reason the server address and/or password is not going through. The warning I get is "the server.... for account.... can't be reached, the settings might be incorrect or the server could be temporarily offline".
I have even gone as far as downgrading to 10.2.1 and after I did everything seem fine.
Having said that I love 10.3 and can't go back.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and has found a resolution.

I use activesync for my work email on 10.3.0.296.
When you configure the account, did you put in the correct smtp username? I find that if I leave that blank I get the error messages you get.

Thank you for the reply. Do you mean the area for username? I don't see something labeled as "smtp username".

I have 2 EAS accounts working. The user name on one is same as email address, the other is just username with no @.com.

So try matching username and email address or just under with no @.com.

SMTP is not involved in ActiveSync.

Yeah you are probably right. Too bad though, I was hoping to be able to use it. But if I don't find a solution I will probably have to revert yet again to 10.2.1

Were you able to find a solution? I have the same issue with 296. Maybe we can load different bar files for email? Anyone know which ones would I have to load?

I have same issue...I had reinstall os wt autoloader got it cleared

FYI, I got active sync to work for me on 10.3. I had to turn off network and use wi-fi only. Once the account was connected everything worked as expected.

Try it and see if it works for you.
