Oh no, our worst nightmare (for me anyways) may just be coming true. Engadget has a new article stating that RIM has mentioned a Q1 release for the Blackberry Javelin!!! NOO!!! If you want to read, here's proof.
BlackBerry Curve 8900 hits FCC, destined for US airwaves early next year - Engadget
Hit "Read: Coming to the US" and prepare to have your holiday shopping for a Javelin shot down by RIM.

and yet no mention of at&t lol. don't these people know 2/3 of BB sales come from at&t? don't they know that at&t got the 8300 first? I don't believe engadget or BGR for any 8900 info, period.

NOT YESS!! JAN '09! It's a NO!!! I won't be able to pick one up in December and then it's gonna be on T-Mobile FIRST. This just RUINED my night. If T-Mobile gets it Jan '09, then AT&T might get it later. During the first two months of 2009, I CARE ABOUT WHO GETS IT FIRST!!!!

I could answer that. The carrier decides. Isn't that just stupid?

Canada got the bold first. Storm will roll out about the same time as USA I'd imagine, within a month. So USA gets the 8900 for while. Let us get the bugs out and then you can have it.

Somebody on here with access to Orange's internal intranet has previously stated it's on their system quoted as w/c 8th Dec release, and I was told by O2 customer retention it was going to be the end of this month for them! As ever though....wait and see, but I'm thinking weeks rather than months for us!

She's been listed on the official BlackBerry Europe site since yesterday's Germany release, so it shouldn't be long....

I just hope that VZW gets it sometime next year.

If they don't, the wife is going to be PISSED at me! I used my NE2 to get the Curve for me, gave her my 8830 and promised that she'd get my Curve when the 8900 comes out on VZW.
**She's pissed already cause she's got a phone without a camera!**
