What are the LTE frequency bands in Romania?
Which carrier's LTE and 4G networks have the widest coverage. I am interested in Bucharest, Craiova and Transilvania coverage no matter which carrier.

According to Wikipedia the carriers there have LTE networks on the 1800 MHz, for which your phone would to have band 3. The Z30 -5 does not have this band.

Also according to Wikipedia, two carriers there--Vodafone and Orange--have UMTS (3G/HSPA+) networks on the 900 MHz frequency, in addition to networks on 2100 MHz. Your Z30 does have the 2100 MHz band, but it does not have the 900 MHz band. So hopefully, the latter provides supplemental and not primary coverage in the places you've listed. Two other carriers--Cosmote and RCS&RDS have UMTS networks entirely on 2100 MHz, but I don't know how their coverages are.

Great. Thank you. I could not find the bands for STC-5. I know I saw them somewhere but was not sure if the Z30 advertised on the BlackBerry Canadian website was an STC-5 model. I know it does not have the 1800MHz band.

If you're still on Rogers and have a Rogers Q10, that phone will get LTE in Romania because it's the same model as the one sold in Europe.

I am on Rogers but have a Z30.
The map for Orange and Vodafone in Romania claims LTE 1800MHz in Bucharest.

Then that means no LTE in Romania when using a -5.

But, on a different website, Vodafone Rom�nia is listed as having LTE 800, 1800, and 2600.
2600 should work with a STC100-5.

Vodafone Rom�nia advertises all BlackBerry phones, including Z30 with LTE 800, 1800 and 2600.
