To developers. Then there would be no reason for developers not to bring in apps.

The time spent supporting the apps is also a consideration. Apparently some feel that the time and effort invested will not be recouped.

The apps which are free, , don't have better interface with less features,...therefore BlackBerry should think about it...

There is a percentage of sales that goes to BB.

But it doesn't cost money to be a BB World Vendor (unlike, say, the Apple App Store), so it is free. Might want to rephrase your question, then.

Samsung gives Tizen developers 100% of revenue for the first year, this is great advertisement of the platform.

Who knows how it works? Maybe it costs BlackBerry too much money to keep things running and can't give the devs more percentage. Who knows but IMO I would just make a little bit of profit on everything if I were BlackBerry, then after BlackBerry 10 is more popular with consumers and devs then make more profit.

Then Dev's can just adjust their price upwards so they get what they want. I mean - as a user - if you really want/need an app - paying $2,$3,$4 or $5 should not really matter. Those who cry for paying $0.99 to get an app, and expect 24/7 support - have no idea how much work goes into making a good app, and to deliver support.

What Can be debated - is IF BB are doing enough to serve as a storefront - if they are delivering the proper service for Developers.. but the %% - should not make a difference for developers.

They need to make money on every sector of the business. They don't have the luxury of having huge wads of cash to just give things away. There is no free ride for blackberry and no free apps for customers
