Apple just reinvent QuickReply to messages! it's completely magical, and a complete ripoff of BlackBerry's.

Actually the entire launch of IOS 8 today was a big Yawn. Nothing new most sounds like an update that BlackBerry users get. Apple has lost its shine. Predict doom within 5 years.

It seems like it adds more functionality. I'm not a big facebook user so I'm not positive but I don't think you can like or comment through bb10's "quickreply" feature.

Yh this would be great on bb10 too... apparently quick reply will work for email too on ios.. would like to see this too on bb10. but blackberry could easily do these things, just have to add these features

Are you under the impression that the quick reply was invented by BB?

Apple is taking all the good ideas and making them their own, it is a good strategy and one Microsoft originally used against Apple with Graphical User Interface.

One of the things I love about my Z10 (and hate about my iPad) is the keyboard. Apple just opened themselves up to any keyboard because that is what their users wanted. One less reason to go Blackberry.

That's how you know how ios isn't geared towards business (coming from.a college student) .. who quick replies to email? Why not just send a text if it's something that you need to quick reply

Thats BB's fault, not Apples. If you want to complain, complain to BB for not knowing how to market the features of their devices.

So because someone improves a feature it's crap? Come on people. Let's be at least fair. I don't even own an Apple device but I'm not going to spend one second of my life looking for a way to mock them in order to make Blackberry look better.

Here's the link. I am going to have to hold my tongue when my iPhone using friends rave about this new feature. BlackBerry only has itself to blame for dropping the ball on letting the public know about OS10. Have to be accountable.

Sent from my Q10 or Z10.

Interactive notifications in ios8, that sold me right there. With the refined notification center this thing is a beast I tell ya.
Wow and notifications on lock screens apple is taking it up a notch. Watch out android wp and BlackBerry.

I love how their SVP states it built and refined from ios7, if he didn't point that out I would have thought it was built off BB10 OS or even android.

I'm going to start to sound like a broken record... does it really matter who brought it out first if they are incapable of marketing it properly. Apple will get the prize because not only do they bring it to market but they also inform the market about it.

The problem is not who did it first, is who can sell it, so far BBRY couldn't, I'm sure Apple will sell it, nobody finally cares who invented it as long as it works, now BBRY has to be smart to somehow promote the "copied by Apple features".

But apple refined it, how they usually do it. Its easier to interact with their notification. You don't need to hit a small button like on a blackberry...When I close the notification or answer it I need to aim. How they did it you can just grab it and then its a two way interaction which will be less error-prone.
So my first thought was, oh nice that's what I can already do with my Q10, but yeah it's solved a little bit smatter interaction wise...
