Hi All,
I took several pictures on my Q10 and wanted to email them to myself.

When I started to type my name "ray", the list comes up. My email popups, e.g., [email protected], but underneath is another email address:

[email protected] (see below).



1) What cause this?
2) How do I get rid of this?

I have emailed pictures to myself many times and have never seen this. I tried looking for it under my contact, but can't find it or where this is saved. FYI, my actual email does appear further down the list, but I can't figure out how the other email address also got associated with my name.

I have no recollection of ever sending any email to that email address. That's what spooking me

Nope I didn't get anything. Not that I would expect to since it's not an email address that I have ever seen. I sure would like to be able to get it off my phone, but can't find where it's pulling it from.

Thanks for your effort. Any suggestions on how to delete it off my Blackberry Q10?

Tried to see if it was an alias or something. Does come up when you search for it? Unlink some contact?

Sometimes these are exchange aliases

If this is an exchange account, ask your admin if that is familiar

I don't see it and it doesn't seem like I can search for it either. When I do, it bring up my valid email address.

I just email the support for our Exchange account and see if they know anything about this. If not, I think I'm in deep doo-doo because I can find it for now to get rid of it if I had to.

It can happen if you have an email on your device that is addressed to you and that user. It's really stupid.
