Hi all, can anyone help? I received my new z30 on Friday and swapped over z10 backup. Today I removed from charge at 7.30am and by 1pm my battery is down to 10%. When I viewed app manager BBM has pulled 55% of my battery power. Have powered off and on again and back onto charge.

Sounds like these is a problem with your backup. I would reload the OS again and try the restore again. BBM never takes that much processing power. And after about three days, the Z30 battery has evened out and lasts for way over 24 hours.

Agree but I would use it for awhile before restoring any backup and see how that goes.

Seems a common problem. Had the same issue myself and several other people have reported similar issues in other threads.

So guys thanks for the comments. I went through my contacts and discovered a recently added contact had a changing animated icon for his profile picture. I deleted the contact and battery life has been amazing today. So far been on the go for 13 hours and still showing 46% left. Soo happy I made the switch now that that I have ironed out this clitch.

My husband's Z30 battery was draining due to bbm. He tried everything and lastly he went to app manager and stopped all notifications from bbm which stopped the drain.
