Anyone had a problem where the camera won't save pictures that you take.?

I take a picture it shows up in the bottom left corner like usual I can view it and share it. But if I close the app it does not get saved in the camera album. Or anywhere that I can tell.

As near as I can tell it started once I got the new software up date that came out last week

Try to change the savings location of the photos
If your saving it to SD card change it to phone storage and vise versa and see if that makes any difference
Because with latest update they brought some new changes to SD card support

Have that same problem, numbers. It's still saving it to the SD card, but you have to restart the device to see them. Changed my save location to the device rather than the SD card and there's no problem, but moving things around often requires restarts before they show up.

Is it a new SD card? I had issues with an older SD card I was using with my Q10: it was corrupting a lot of the pictures I was trying to send out. Once I got a larger card, my issues went away. You could also try just reformatting the existing card in case something's just gotten a little wonky.

I switched to device memory and it fixed the issue

I had this problem on the Q10 once. I was taking a bunch of family photos at once. Only a couple seemed to save and I was bummed. But later they were there! It was strange...I was just glad that they were indeed saved.

I had the same problem with my Q10 the other day. I restarted the phone and they were all there. I was using my SD card to save the photos to at the time . And I'm running the latest 10.2.1 official OS.

Since the update, I've also been having problems saving photos.

The photos will not appear in the photo app, however they show in file browser but without preview icon, just blank pic symbol.

Also when attempting to save bbm pics, the file doesn't save properly and have to use file browser to rename the pic extention back to jpg.

A lot of photo and image problems are cropping up as a result...

Running Z10 on Rogers with Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.3175



Edit - battery pull, sim and memory card pull, 2 min wait seemed to fix... for now...
