    This is my first post. I have installed the latest update this week and since then I receive text messages but don't get any notification, tone or led. I am running the latest official rogers os

    Same thing happened to me with last update of which I installed OTA. After a few days I installed using BlackBerry Link and everything came back

    It never used to for me either as I have a mac too but the last several times have been a positive experience for me

    Did you try text message notification toggle off, hard reset, and put toggle back on? Sometimes play with the toggle wake him up..

    I tried everything. The only thing that worked was a reload of the os. Problem solved now, lost some data though.

    What os are you trying to install? Change os version maybe..

    A friend of mine had the same problem.

    We had to backup/security wipe/reload.

    The messages were still a bit wonky, she had to delete all the old text messages, and then new ones were coming in and working fine.
