I've had my Z10 since 23rd March 2013, and have used the same battery since.
Today, I took it upon myself to order a new battery. It only cost $6.99 on Amazon, in retail BlackBerry packaging.

    Impressive, no?

I've noticed in the past few months the battery doesn't last as long as it used to. I think charging and re-charging for over a year, it is time to get a new one.

Impressive, yes. I'm mainly using my Z30 now, but I should probably grab one as well. Just because.

I've been running the same battery since March of 2013, and I haven't had it deplete much yet, or at least no symptoms of it.
Guess we'll see if ever I decide to get a new battery. My device still lasts me all day.

I switch mine around. Cos sometimes mine runs out and I just swap in my spare battery. Been using them for about a year, going strong so far.

My battery is almost a year old now and still lasts as long as it did when new. That is 4-5 hours max brightness surfing and chatting over 3G

Mine lasts a good seven hours under 3G. Chatting and surfing. Sometimes, videos.

On max brightness? I can only get 7 if it's at 50%. Also, I mean literally continuous use.

Been true in the past for sure. Battery guru reports 91% and 95% 100 percent charge health on my two battery's after a years use. All car or motorcycle, lawn battery's take an amount of permanent damage if the battery receives a Zero amount of charge during a 2 week period. FACT. Then Ion battery's capacity decreases overtime on its own because of corrosion that science is trying to solve.

I use mine outdoors mostly, feel too cooped up sitting in the office so I spend lots of time working in the park. Kinda need to put it on max brightness.

There is a story I just saw about scientists have discovered why lithium batteries lose charging ability over time. So maybe our batteries in the future won't die on us for many years.

Yes, I'm getting the exact same battery that came with my device. The current one last about 15 hours or so. I normally charge it before bed...

I could have sworn that prior I could go over 24 hours+ before needing a charge. Anyway, time will tell.

I run my brightness on 50% no matter where I am. I guess I just got used to it.

Just tried it indoors, no way I could live with 50%. Most I could go down to was 80%

See that's one thing I miss about using the q5. Even on max it lasts 8 hours. Already ordered a power bank, and I have 2 batteries. This should be a good arrangement. Not ideal, but I do like my z10

I get through the day fine with one powerbank. A single charge can last me twelve hours if I manage the usage properly.

Mine is usually about 1/3 of the way up. I only set it up to 50% when viewing photos and videos.

Just ordered one so it should solve my problems when on longer road trips. Charging from my Honda or volkswagen takes a really long time and usually more than 1 person needs to use the outlet.

No. I even keep my q5 on max brightness. And that screen is 850cd vs 650 on the z10. Lots of ambient light here in the tropics!

Good choice, good choice. A powerbank has saved me tons of times, and it's only 2600mAh, giving more than twice as much juice as I do normally.
