I spoke to a Citrix rep and found out that they are pulling support for BlackBerry. Only reason I can think of is 10.3 removes AIR and it was written in AIR. I was told to try and use the Android version but it is also written in AIR. So not sure if it will work in 10.3 or not. Just an FYI but this will hurt BlackBerry in the Enterprise world badly.

Citrix has been backstabbing BlackBerry for a long time. They are sooooo in love with Apple you won't believe it.

The Android version did work somewhat when I tested it about a year ago but I ran into some certificate issues with BlackBerry OS 10.1/Android 2.3.5.

At that time there was a lot of complaining in general about the Android version in general. Hopefully Citrix has fixed all issues now

Even if they did fix it I checked and see that the Android version is 9.9MB which means the AIR framework is not bundled with it. So if BB removes the AIR framework as they have said in 10.3 I imagine that even the Android version will not work. Which if the case we are out of luck unless we stay on a 10.2.x OS. This is about to make me jump ship. I am a diehard BB fan and have been for 10 years now but I have to have this feature to do my job. I doubt this will get fixed because it would require Citrix to rewrite their code.

Citrix also has many competing MDM products.

The android version runs perfectly and I can log into my work just fine running OS 10.3

Isn't Citrix one of the few MDM vendors that will have access to managing BB10 devices? I think it was Citrix and Airwatch. I don't know how accurate this is.

That's good news that it works for you on 10.3. I wonder if AIR has been removed yet. If you don't mind can you see if under settings, about, OS shows a version for AIR?

Yes Citrix is one of the MDM vendors but that's not the reason for dropping support. I don't have the exact reason but speculating it's because of AIR being removed in 10.3

Just to be clear: AIR will be removed in 10.3.1, not 10.3.0.

The Citrix receiver doesn't work on my phone. I remember it used to work with the last version of Citrix. I upgraded it to the latest version now it's broke. It just crashes when I try to set up the account. The receiver on my playbook which is the old version I believe, works fine.

The Android version of the Citrix Receiver app works for me and has more features than the BB10 app so I won't mourn the loss of the BB10 Adobe Air version.

I do however think dropping Adobe Air will backfire as I doubt many developers will bother to revisit their BB10 apps to have to redevelop them again, especially free apps. They will just disappear from availability in BlackBerry World and the number of apps available in total will drop upon the release of BB10.3.1

My bluetooth mouse has stopped working within all andriod apps including the Citrix receiver. Left clicking doesn't work anymore, even the in Amazon store itself. This means I have to tap the screen to left click which is a huge disadvantage since I use an HDMI out to a monitor and don't have the phone near me. Has anyone else encountered this? This worked previously.
