    Rather than have him cross-post here, can someone help this guy out re: what his options are for getting a MS Exchange account working on a BB7 device? I gave him some input but my experience with this scenario is thin.

    Currently he's getting prompted for "enterprise activation", using the old OWA-based thing. Maybe his site admins don't have that enabled. I thought that mechanism was deprecated with Exchange 2010 and newer?

    From what I know, BBOS does not work with ActiveSync, but let me get some experts here...

    Not natively (3rd-party apps exist), but he's open to using the OWA-based thing that was included in BIS, if it works.

    I'm just not sure that thing works on Exchange servers past Exchange 2007.

    not gonna happen not supported doesnt work, Ive tried with many different ways. with BIS on the device it must go through their native mail usage so it will work with imap, pop, OWA and BES nothing further.

    Back when I had a 9810, I used to connect with OWA with Outlook 2010 and BIS. I'm 99% positive that legacy OS doesn't have axtivesync native.
