Hey, i've been using blackberry smartphones long time ago and i've struggled with the phone battery, never felt satisfied with it since i am running 3G or 4G. Nowadays, i have Blackberry Q10 and i've got the same problem with the battery. However, i think i found very useful solution, and i would like you guys to try it and let me know if it did work with you properly. My phone battery stays alive 8-10 hours maximum, i tried once to turn off data service and wifi "plane mode whatsoever" and i left it charges all night, I woke up next day using the phone as usual and the battery 50% after 11 hours which means that battery could hopefully live 24 hours running 4G on Q10. I think this tip works only with Li-ion batteries like Q10 Z10 Z30 .. etc. Well, try it guys then tell me what happened.

The bit about turning off wi-fi and the antenna and leaving it to charge all night seems like a no brainer to me. Besides who wants all the electro-magnetic energy from your phone messing with your brain's own currents when your sleeping.

What I really miss about Legacy BBOS was the ability to program it to turn on and off at set times . Its would turn it's self off at 10 and boot up at 6 for my alarm to go off at 6:30. Now I have to leave my phone on all night so the alarm will work in the morning.

I think the problem is that you constantly have something syncing in the background. PIM is using a lot of battery life I assume. I was able to fix this battery issue by setting my sync intervals to daily.

I can lose 20% overnight with radio and WiFi on. I lose less than 1% an hour on Airplane Mode. I mostly shut down the radio at home and keep the WiFi on. This saves me more than half my juice compared to the radio being on.

I always use the function to automatically switch off the radios when I activate the bedside mode.

One more thing i just realized that every day you charge your battery like this, the battery gets more stronger than before and lasts more.

Hub++ doesn't turn off your device/radios it just disables Hub++ at the times you set.
