So the new Facebook update just dropped today and I can't even get a hold of it to check it out! Word is that it's nothing major but an update is an update! Some said they were able to get the update on the login screen of the mobile site (if you're logged in it keeps offering v1.2) and others were able to get it from the Blackberry site but I've had no luck. So this post is to let everyone know it's out there and open discussion for the update!
This is so weird, people all over the internet are able to get v1.3 from the FB mobile login page or directly from blackberry.com. I noticed though that some of the people were in Europe or other parts of the US, I'm in CA so not sure if it's a time thing but that doesn't really make sense either.
Only issue i have noticed is when you take a picture with the blackberry and then go to upload it. If you have hte facebook app installed it starts lagging at the selection screen and all through the tag and caption screen... Any idea if facebook will allow geotagging for blackberries anytime soon? awesome feature to be able to see on a map where a picture was taken.
