Using RoomTunes for Sonos and its brilliant but the volume from the Q10 does not seem to work. Sonos is connected to a receiver so that may be it but the Sonos app on the ipad does control the volume.

Thoughts?

Volume controls should work as the Q10 does support

Bluetooth Yes, v4.0 with A2DP


So it should work. Maybe try deleting the profile from your Bluetooth and re pairing?

I'm new at using at the app so sorry....but I don't see a profile. Once I installed the app and started it the first time it picked up Sonos and everything was there. I did confirm in Settings that Volume Control is on.

I'm just taking a shot in the dark here - but does your receiver work over the network?

Also - where is the tuner in this setup? Can you explain how your Sonos is setup?

Ok, feeling a little silly here. The system was professionally set up so my understanding of all the bells and whistles is not what it should be. But in looking at it all I need to retract my statement that I can adjust the volume with the iPad. It’s all done through the system’s remote and the volume is set as Fixed.
