So in the newer OS you have the option to record at 720p 60fps. Does this make it better than 1080p or not? Can someone be a hero and explain please

60 for means that the video is supposed to be smoother, while 1080p means that there are more pixels in the video, just try both and see which one do you like more

Slow motion works better when you have higher FPS. I'm guessing there is a 30 FPS hardware limitation at 1080p.

Higher the fps, the smoother the image is and it's preferred if you are capturing something with a lot of action. Like videotaping tours your roller coaster ride.

30fps is good for your regular day to day recording.

720p or 1080p is related to the resolution! Everything above 30fps should not be noticable by the human eyes... thats why 30fps is used in almost all video capturing devices.

Just like anything above 300dpi, right? Completely pointless...

720p at 60fps can be slowed to 30 fps giving a slow motion effect.

Does the player allow you to view it in slow motion? If it doesn't in the leak, hopefully they do plan on implementing that on the official release.

If you are going to be moving around a lot or recording fast moving objects 60fps at 720p will be better, otherwise stick with 1080p

Standard cinematic is actually 24 fps. The eye can't see any quicker than that. What happens is that the picture becomes blurry, higher framerates reduce the blur.

I don't know if the internal player will slow videos, but its very easy on the pc.
