I've heard many rumors about what's going to happen in 2015 concerning support for legacy devices. I have a 9670 that I REALLY like (and no, I don't need to hear about how much better the 10 is). I've read conflicting articles about BlackBerry keeping the OS running, others that say 2015 will be the final year. My Style is the 6 platform. Any definitive answers? Should I downgrade to the 9310 which is my only alternative with Boost Mobile, my carrier (7 platform)? Any advice would be MOST helpful!!!

You wont being seeing any OS releases for the device but you still should be able to get support from the carrier and BB if you have issues with the device. It wont matter if its the 9670 or the 9310

Thanks, Matt. Good to know I won't be set adrift. Don't mind not getting updates, my phone does everything I need it to do, and does it well.

I did that switch, and in relative os6/os7 terms, the 9310 is light years ahead of the 9670 in terms of OS speed...the 9310 screen is slightly smaller and the keyboard is typewriter loud
