I have been out of the bb loop and now back with Z10. I see that 10.3 has been leaked but would u recommend loading it now? If so, how should I go about it?

If the z10 is your daily driver. No. The battery life is horrible.

If it is not then go ahead. Just go to the leak section. Download, unzip, backup phone, run autoloader.

Running 10.3 for almost a month now. Daily driver. Smooth experience except one problem, the camera sometimes doesn't open and requires a reboot. Other than that, I can't see myself going back to 10.2. Battery is a little worse, not too bad. Can still last me a day and half on a weekend.

Reload as usual, there re plenty of guides on crackberry

See in my case the camera crash was a no as I use it at work. I could hardly make it 8 hours off charge. I would unplug. Go work 8 hours and be down to 20% or less when I got home. Hardly used phone as I am at work.

That is just my experience with it.

I'd wait for the official release.

This leaked OS is still very buggy and has watermarks.
And I think there are still not all things implemented which we will see in the official release.

It's a very early built.

For myself I gonna stick with 10.2.1 until then, because it's running smoothly right now. With that leak it would be a step back.

If you don't mind certain things not working, or not working properly. Or having your PIN watermarked in all 4 corners of the screen, then by all means go ahead and install it.

It's way to early of a build to use as a daily driver(although some people obviously are), and 90% of what we are seeing from Clewley on his BBM channel as a "preview", we did not see in the leaked 10.3 build that was posted on here.

I actually am already tired of using leaks that nowadays I just wait for the official one to be out. Just too lazy to backup, install and load. Plain ol me lol

Oh yeah, if you only get a few hrs, that's because you need to turn off the photo story setting. Otherwise it will constantly dig up photos you took and create movies from them.

Thank you everyone. Awesome info. I will wait for the official release. My biggest gripe is the shadows behind the icons.

I am assuming we can't theme OS 10 like previously also when is 10.3 expected to drop?

Yeah something like that. Mixed reviews from people who have installed it, but I think most like what they see. No one has installed a radio that works though.

I've always wanted to load the latest leak, but end up chickening out. My Z10 is my only phone. I'm out too much to justify a land line. So I'm a little too worried that something will go wrong and I'll be without a phone.

I've installed the bar files for calculator, browser and weather. Calculator isn't 100% for me, but others have had no issues. Browser is quick, but seems to lag a little when loading some heavily coded sites. Weather app is terrific.

Go ahead load leaked OS 10.3, if you have loaded and feel not happy of leaked than reload existing OS by connection to BlackBerry Link. Good luck!
