I could not download Snap, called Rogers PC Expert tech Expert support and in 15 minutes they were able to remotely install SNAP.

Now I can get Kijiji, Seeking Alpha App and others which I could not get on 1 Mobile and Amazon App store

    Way to go Rogers !

Whhaaaa? How did someone remotely install snap in your phone? Let along a bone head from Rogers. I'm with Bell. You get the picture. Lol

Maybe it was done using the Network IP rather than the WiFi IP?

I would suspect Rogers remote accesses the OP's computer, setup the Wifi stuff and still did it through WiFi.

Techxpert is an extra charge, they are the equivalent of best buy geek squad.

Some packages include it at no additional cost though.

Likely what they did is remote to his pc, have him turn on development mode and then connect to computer.

Our company uses Rogers and there view on BlackBerry And BB10 seems to be changing. At first they wanted us to drop BlackBerry and go with Windows phones. I strongly resisted that notion and if they didn't get me the new z30 devices I wouldn't be renewing the contract as Bell was. Now less than a year later, when I go into the branch, they ask me questions on how the latest software release is performing, how is the z30 for business performing etc. The talk is positive, and I see others getting new BlackBerry devices. Things are slowly changing for the better with Rogers it seems.

Best buy geek squad understandably has a very bad reputation, whatever bell has going on for themselves [if truth] sure is quite impressive.

Could very well have just used sachesi. You don't even need dev mode enabled for sachesi to load apps
