    The platform has over 100 million users and the majority of those users snapchat as well.

    Snap2chat is a huge boost for BlackBerry 10 but Kik is one of those social platforms that can boost snap2chat.

    We've all seen those slightly seedy tweets where people are asking for Kik's and Snapchat. I think Nemory would do well by developing a native Kik

    Kik was available for BlackBerry at one point. However BlackBerry removed it from BlackBerry World. I can't remember the story behind it but if you search around, you'll find it

    Kik is a crock. Alliance member took ideas from BBM, built Kik as "cross-platform" BBM years before BlackBerry decided to do it :s they sued them, not sure anything ever came of it...

    It's the messaging app used by my son's friends in middle school.

    The android version works well, although you have to keep it in an active frame.

    Kik works great. It is as fast as BBM. I had to use a sideloaded version of Kik to communicate with my wife while at sea on a ship because BBM wasn't working on their system. Thankfully with my last OS update BBM is now working on the ship. Personally, I like Kik and a lot of people use it.

    Another problem with Kik's app was their farming of contacts. I value my privacy, and the privacy of my friends and family. So I'd stay away from this product, personally.
