    I put a new memory card on my z30 and my photos are being saved to it. I know this because I can see them in the file manager, for some reason they don't show up in the photos app. Anyone have any ideas? Sorry if this is covered somewhere else.

    Yes this is an issue that has been affecting many users, myself included. I'm not sure the reason as it seems to be random.
    I'm thinking it's a bug.

    1) you can leave it, and see if fixed itself.. this has worked for some
    2)reboot
    3) re install pictures app bar file.

    Whenever I put a media card in I format in the phone if it hasn't been used before.

    No problems here.

    On my Z10 it needs to scan the memory card. Takes a fee minutes and then everything is there. Happens with music too. Goes through this whenever I remove the SD card or reboot the device. I'm guessing it's the same with the Z30.

    That isn't it. The memory card had been in for over 24 hours.


    I restarted and waited a while. It seems to be working now.

    I have had this issue for a while, now. I thought it was fixed when I cleaned my phone out, but it's happening again! :-|
