I had some problems to add my startpage.com search to the Z10 browser because there wasn't an "add to search sign" - I found out, how to add my favourite search engine and want to tell you how to do it:

• I opened the plugin generator from searchplugins.net
• In Search URL I wrote

  https://startpage.com/do/m/smartphone_search.pl?query=TEST&language=deutsch

  - you may use another language but "query=TEST" has not to be changed!
  
• I left Suggestion URL (optional) empty
• The Search plugin title was in my case Startpage (mobil)
• Search Method: GET
• Search Results Format: HTML
• Input Encoding: UTF-8
• Adult Content: false
• Icon: Website Favicon (manual)
• Website Favicon URL:

  https://startpage.com/favicon.ico

That's all. Click on "Create Plugin" and when the page is updated click on "Install"

Awesome! Thanks for the hint. Funny: language=deutsch, of course a German is using startpage and tries to find out how to use it also on his smartphone. Same here!

There's also something called the mycroftproject.com
Basically, it's a a website that has any search engine you want and is basically the code here already setup and all you have to do a click to add.

I'm pretty sure I used mycroft. I wanted start page too. Makes sense to use a secure search engine on a secure phone eh.
