- Yes, i really do. I think almost everyone- Cell Phone Manufacturers, Carriers, App makers, tech review sites, tech reviewers, almost everyone, are trying to pull down Blackberry.
I mean, just take a look at everything, fb comments, comments on tech sites, even comments for news people, maximum times i get to see this thing-"RIP Blackberry","LOL! Blackberryz deadz".
I'm not kidding, but its like, these people(tech blog posters, and everyone else) have been directed by some more 'powerful' people, to kill this company in eyes of consumers.
US govt. switching away from BB(even in presence of BB10), Nokia bashing, 'LOL BB dead' quotes everywhere, i don't think all of this is a coincidence.
I know, some mistakes are committed by Blackberry, like, you know, ~nil advertising. But then again, think about it.
Already no advertising is killing Blackberry, but false advertising is more vulnerable. And that's whats happening
It's just my opinion.04-25-14 07:13 AMLike 7 - It's all a question of money and having enough sheeple who repeat it. It's your turn to show that BlackBerry is not dead. That's what me and my friends do.
the quieter you become, the more you are able to hear04-25-14 07:16 AMLike 7 - It would be funny and freaking awesome if someone can write a virus trojan that sets all android to say "Sent for a BlackBerry!" for everything they send. Proves both security issues and also raise some eyebrows when people think others are switching to BB.04-25-14 07:22 AMLike 6
- I think its more like most people are like sheep, and some are herders. Apple has better herders. But a few years back when they were down and almost out there wasn't they take down the King attitude like there is now for BB. Maybe because they were not "the best at what they do" before hand and just another company. If things turn around for BB and things go bad for apple again might get the reaction BB is getting now, might not. If it is a conspiracy its a good one.Volstandigkeit and stlabrat like this.04-25-14 07:28 AMLike 2

Talking of mobile industry, Apple and Android (Google) and Nokia is now acquired by Microsoft. Now what other mobile OS es in the market? BlackBerry, which is unlike all others don't sell your data or let others spy on your calls and break in your privacy.
I think if it was not QNX, BlackBerry could have gone for good because those big corporates are in need for QNX....
Sometimes when I think about this whole topic, I think how cool it would be if Russia shows interest to partner with BlackBerry...04-25-14 07:54 AMLike 10 - I think it's no coincidence when the dominating corporates are American. - Can't believe the nonsense in this thread. It's no conspiracy, it's just tough business and if you have followed the way BlackBerry has been mismanaged in the recent years that is absolutely no surprise. The invisible hand of the market is not very forgiving, so that's the way it goes. No conspiracy or shady guys needed for that.

They were going to ban Blackberry. Sometime back, few cricket players were caught by, in case of fixing, through BBM chats.
As long as its for criminal acts, its fine. But when it comes to privacy, its bad. Sad thing is its hard to differentiate.
And these investigations are done, by requesting the company for the check on chats, logs, etc. It's not done directlykbz1960 likes this.04-25-14 08:10 AMLike 1 - Yes, i really do. It's just my opinion.
It could even be an incredibly elaborate stock market scheme where massive fluctuations in a particular stock create legal wealth for individuals.
The loss of use with Bbm could have been on purpose!
I'm sure there are companies whose only focus is to create stock price undulations, that being the legal "money " end of the scam, and the hiring and firing, good news, bad news the actual scam.
Or simple paranoia from the brownies you ate.

- Your sense of smell is bad. It is not a conspiracy. It is called bad management. The issue has been debated ad infinitum on this site. BBRY could have owned mobile and they fumbled it badly especially in the US.
I have no issues saying BB10 is awesome (it is); Z10 is a great device (cant wait for a z30); and I recommend the phone and show it off to anyone interested (Everyone says "WOW I had no idea!").
At my house we are now at 2 BBs, 3 Samsung galaxies, and 4 iOS devices. Conspiracies have to be planned, constructed, executed, and hidden! Bad management happens in the open in front of EVERYONE. ALL, THE, TIME!04-25-14 08:40 AMLike 4 - Of course.. Managerial failures, empty promises, delays, and wrong vision of the company kicked it to the back of the line.
But even when BlackBerry came back with BlackBerry 10 and they try to catch up, the war gets more aggressive although we know how amazing BB10 is.
There's no denial that BlackBerry is responsible for their delay and decreasing market share but still there's still this secret power that doesn't want to let BlackBerry to rise again.Jake2826 likes this.04-25-14 08:43 AMLike 1 - Of course.. Because even crap can sell good if done properly.
BlackBerry is still not giving the majority what they want.
You can't force fad.

Why is it that there's a highly advance OS, which is very different from others, doesn't get the support from App makers, doesn't want to get supported by carriers, is already called 'dead' before seeing the light of the day.
say poor advertising. but no, advertising not alone is responsible for all of this.Jake2826 likes this.04-25-14 08:55 AMLike 1 - Of course.. Managerial failures, empty promises, delays, and wrong vision of the company kicked it to the back of the line.
