    I had location service on. But it only comes on when there is app using it. For some strange reason lately it is always on even there is no app open. How can I find which app is doing it.

    Hi,

    As I understand it, you turn "Location Services" on or off in the settings screens.

    If you have turned it off, it should stay off.

    If Location Services are turned off, an app that requires location data will pop up a request for you to go into settings to turn location services on.

    My point being: location services are not always on. You can have it on or off. Apps cannot override your choice AFAIK.
