I don't know if it's been mentioned here before, but the search shortcut from the home screen is starting to act a little weird. I have a strong suspicion that it has something to do with watching videos online, since this usually happens after I get off YouTube for a search.

It sort of looks like the portrait mode has been stretched and re-oriented into the landscape mode (which I find quite amusing), though the keyboard stays in portrait, irrespective of how the phone is positioned.

If I go back to the home screen, this is what I see (More of scary than amusing)

Going back to the search again, the screen is still weird but the keyboard is now in landscape. Of course, it's okay again when I exit and reopen. But still, not cool.

It's the 4th or 5th time it's happening and since I didn't see a thread about this (honestly I didn't search) , just thought I'd ask around.

Try a hard reset ... could fix the issue

Same thing happened to me before while watching videos in landscape and attempting to search something. Though the issue fixed itself after reboot.
