We know BlackBerry is rolling os 10.3 out later this year. I have a feeling BlackBerry 11 is already being worked on though and I think it will launch in mid 2015. What would you like to see in that version?

Considering BlackBerry seem to be going back in time with their 'classic' range, I wouldn't hold my breath for any new OS versions higher than 10.X.X.XXXX currently in the near future at least.

They will update OS 10 sure, but a completely new OS 11 won't happen for a long while I fear, but I am willing to be proven wrong. ; )

Yup...the naming really annoys me! Such a stupid concept and terrible OS name...they have to change it to just QNX Mobile or something...

BB10 running 11...its confusing...

For anyone wondering what I mean...you can not call the OS BB10...the entire OS name is BlackBerry 10 OS...and its running version 10.2.1 now...soon 10.2.2 and then 10.3...but its still BlackBerry 10 OS...

So if they update to version 11.X.XXXX thats still BlackBerry 10 OS running version 11...

It is a really stupid naming system and they messed up with it, and should revamp it if they ever get to version 11...

Agreed. For g-d sakes look how long Apple has had their OS 10 (OS X) now. 10.1 to 10.9 over how many years? At least they assigned cute feline names to their releases though.

OS fully named by a number, bad idea.

I don't think they'll have a problem when the time is right calling it BlackBerry 11 or whatever. A while back one if their sales guys told me BES10 was the branding, but BES12 is now announced so it will be called whatever they see fit. As long as it keeps improving, and more importantly selling enough so I (we) can keep using the devices and OS we love then I don't care what it's called.

OP is correct in the sense that it is getting renamed. It is no longer going to be 10.4, 10.5, etc.
The OS is getting rebranded to most likely QNX10/11. No confirmation has been made officially by the company, although it is the rumor that employees have heard

Why insult? You have no reason to think he is wrong...To me what he says makes perfect sense...the BB10 OS name is BRUTAL!! I for one really hope that they are currently working on a new name and design for it! QNX Mobile would be easiest and sounding professional...they can't do anything like Android food names...it must stay professional sounding.

That being said, it would still make sense to launch 10.3 as 10.3...maybe starting next year when a COMPLETE rehash of the OS comes thats when they would launch a new name...so instead of OS 11, they will launch "QNX Mobile 1.0"...whenever this complete refresh and OS overhaul occurs is anyones guess (if it even happens) but up until then they would continue running with the 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 numbering system.

We all saw the leak, 10.3 isn't a complete overhaul of the OS, but it does modify things and flatten out the OS...so maybe instead of 10.4 we will see BB11 (or whatever new name they decide) and that will be the complete change to OS...updated and modified active frame appearance and function, changes to the HUB, etc.
