Let's get to the bottom of this. Since the last update, caller ID barely works. Approximately 2 of 5 calls now will only show the number until the call is answered which it then decides to connect to a contact. This has been horrible for business and everyone in the office is complaining. Some BlackBerry's were affected worse then others and a few people it doesn't happen to at all. What can we do to fix this, any thoughts?

Yeah this is very annoying. Many times I have ignored a call thinking I don't know who it is ( I don't memorize all numbers )...in actual fact I do have them in my contacts...

I also noticed the same problem on some OS updates. First time, I noticed when I installed 10.2.1..2728, call ID, SMS were shown as unknown numbers but when I installed 10.2.1.2947, this problem was resolved. When OS 2272 was made available, same problem was noticed but a surprise, after installing again 2947, caller ID and SMS name problem was gone. based on above experience, I concluded that US based OS have this problem and Asian OS (Like 2947 was basically for Z3 Indonesia) takes care of mobile numbering system and correctly identify caller id etc.

When I first upgraded to 10, I had this issue. I was able to resolve it (in US with US numbers) by going through my contacts and placing a 1 before the area code for each number. It was tedious, but worked.

I'm not experiencing this problem at this time. However, if you want to get to the bottom of this, I think it would be best if you include your MyVer and carrier information in your post, so we can see if a pattern develops.

I have numbers entered with and without a 1 or +1 and I'm not experiencing any issues with caller ID.

I remember even my Nokia 1100 hasn't had this problem! I don't know when BlackBerry team are going to solve this problem. Come on two years expended!
It is better BlackBerry team do some work on it instead of lost time on changing icons and colours!

My friend is experiencing this same problem on a Note-3 so it's not a BlackBerry 10 problem only. Maybe it's more of a network issue.

Open the phone app then repeatedly swipe diagonally down-left from the top-right corner of the screen until the screen blanks off and reappears with a blank home screen. That resets the phone app and clears the contact names not showing up glitch which often reappears after the phone is shut down or the battery dies. The same gesture also resets the hub.

Update: The correct gesture is to repeatedly swipe down from the top right corner of the screen.

It's both. In some cases it's the network but the OS does seem to have a glitch which is remedied by resetting the phone app and the hub.
