STL 100-1 Lacks some major features like Wifi Direct, white balance, miracast (and radio I think) but it has the compatible hardware to support these features but BlackBerry choose not to update some drivers and give these features to this model. Why not creating a petition to BlackBerry to give us these features in a next update?

They're not going to make certain z10 devices have certain features and others not. To the average Joe, a Z10 is a Z10 and they're all the same.

Implementing features on one version and not on the others will open up a whole new can of worms...

I don't ask features that other Z10s don't have. I ask what my device can handle.

But if you guys want to try to get these features on the stl-1 models, by all means. I'm not saying you shouldn't, I'm saying that they won't because it is a major selling feature that will cause confusion for regular customers.

Wifi direct is very useful for me. Don't mention that the STL 100-1 Has the necessary hardware for miracast. And for the white balance, is good to have it. STL 100-1 is too warm.
Personally I don't think that if BlackBerry give this features ,it will create confusion. I believe the opposite.

I would love to have White Balance on my Z10. Z10 looks like it's on 6500k or perhaps even warmer. While 6500k is indeed the standard for sRGB, I personally use cooler white on my PC monitor

Took me sometime before I realized the reason why the wallpaper I meticulously created on my PC looks very different on my Z10. Using built-in pic editor to edit the white balance helps somewhat
