Like many, I'm tired of waiting for 10.2 update from AT&T, so I'm going rogue, lol! I've never sideloaded anything, so I have some questions. Can I just borrow a SIM card from another carrier that has updated, put in my Q10, and update? If so, which carrier has the most up to date update? Thanks for any guidance

Why don't you just load one of the leaks, 2947 is what I suggest, it's easy as long as you have a PC and have bb link installed.

I've tried using a Rogers SIM to get an update for my locked AT&T Q10, but no update came through. It might work if you unlock your device, but trust me, it's much less of a hassle to backup your device and use Sachesi.

Thought about using a leak, but that requires a PC and I'm on a Mac

I wo der how much of a hit in profit at&t would take if all BlackBerry users abandoned at&t? I know many won't because of unlimited plan but since BlackBerry customers are meaningless to them I would like to see what their quarterly loss or yearly loss would be.

Actually not a Hassle at all to get a sim card from other carrier and place it in phone. The steps are the following. First yes phone must be unlocked second backup phone to save all important information that you do not want lost. Third clear phone to factory settings. Fourth have to place sim card in from other carrier make sure phone is connected to charger during process and wait about 30 mins to 45mins update done that's it.
One thing you should know if in the U.S don't use Verizon it won't work T-mobile yes. Other than that most Canadian carriers sim work.

Any ideas on how to get a Canadian SIM card? I assume Rogers would be a good choice?

eBay or a day trip up here. To update any AT&T phone, a Rogers , Telus or Bell SIM should work

So I downloaded sachesi and completed installation, no hiccups. Q10 rebooted and some apps don't work, or won't open and there's no Hub? Should I just install again?
