I have looking at getting a Q10 as a second device to my Z10 to see if I prefer the smaller phone with keyboard.
Was considering the Q5 once they started to sell them unlocked.
The price of the Q10 until sometime this weekend was $399 and you could add the $100 discount. The Q5 was $349. I thought it was worth the extra $50 for the q10 and was getting ready to buy one. I went to check out the website again after I saw posts about the white Z30 and found that the cost of the Q10 is now $499. So now that we can use the promotion code to get $100 off, the price was increased $100 so we don?t really save anything. What's the deal? Did anyone else notice?

The price was $499 (regular price) last week and I guess they had a promo on this weekend for $399. Some people were able to add the additional $100 discount onto that (I think it was the US online store only) which makes for a crazy good deal, but the price just went back to normal after the weekend ($499). Presumably you can still use the $100 discount on the regular price. . .

When a company wants to kill a product, it begins by raising its price, the production is lowered and then they just sell the inventory regardless of how much time it takes to be sold but assuring higher profits. I'm starting to see price increases in my country too.

I don't think so, in my business when you want to finish off a product, you tell your sales people to sell the living h**ll out of it and run that wagon till the wheels come off. So you lower the price and incentivise as much as you can.

How do you get the $100 off and do you get it on all phones? That would bring the price of an unlocked Z10 to $199.

I just ordered an unlocked Q10 yesterday from ShopBlackBerry using the promotion code BLACKBERRY1 and paid $299.00. I just received my FedEx shipping information for the 2 day delivery option and it will be here Monday.

Very nice Mrluky...I will be selling my unlocked AT&T Q10 next week after I receive my new Q10 from ShopBlackBerry Monday. I was going to price mine at $250.00 as well. I hope mine sells as quickly as yours...
