have had the phone for about 3 weeks, fantastic device. About 2 days ago the battery life has gotten poor with minimal use. it was lasting for 2 days prior, now only lasting for about a day. No new apps downloaded and no other features have been turned on.

I tried turning off wifi to help, same result. The software is up to date.

any thoughts?

check the device monitor to see what is hogging the resources/battery. You can access it from the quick settings if you set it up.

Installed any NEW apps/.apks? slowly backtrack and uninstall one at a time. Usually an errant app/install.

looked at the device monitor under battery, biggest hog is the os itself at 9.6%, everything else below 0.36, really no issue there. beginning to think it may be a faulty battery, its drained 10% in 2 hours idle.

That happened to my Z10 when I installed ebay.... my battery got crushed in 4 hours.

Uninstalling it got rid of the issue - I wouldn't be surprised if it was an errant app or a synching issue with an account.

Download taskmanager from BlackBerry world.

Im almost 100 percent sure its an android app thats causing your battery drain.
