Just had this put on my screen. It has dulled the colors on my screen. Also seems like it leaves smudges from my fingertips. I bought it for 5 $ from a local repair shop. I guess I got what I paid for..i want to remove it and replace with a top quality screen protector. Please advise which one I should put on.

I have the Skinomi protector on my Z30 and I can't wait to tear it off. Looking at the screen from an angle, all I can see on the protector is lines and marks in it. I just replace the second Skinomi screen protector on my Z10 (I thought I screwed up the first one) with a Ghost Armor screen protector and it is much nicer. It feels more like glass and doesn't get and hold marks like the Skinomi one does.

Not knocking anyone who prefers the Skinomi screen protectors, I just thought I would share my disappointment and experience.

I always go for the wet install ones so I do t have to worry about them peeling anytime soon.

Because of the curve glass edge of the Z30, any screen protector is going to feel awful when you hit the edge swiping across the screen.
Also bare glass of the Z30 is oh so smooooooth, no screen protector can give you that great feeling.

Two options...wet install or dry install. Wet installs generally have a better fit because they're more flexible, but they feel awful and dent easily. Dry installs do not go to the edge because of the way the screen on our phones curves slightly, however dry installs feel as close to the stock screen as you can get and are generally clearer. Dry installs also are a little easier to install and they usually don't dent and mark up as easily as wet installs. I've had awesome luck with iSmooth. I've used them on everything from Note 3 to iPad Mini and iPhone 5/5s. Hard to beat their fit and feel, plus you get three protectors and an awesome cleaning cloth for roughly $10.

I had an Xtreme Guard screen protector on. It looked good but very annoying when I reached the edge of the screen. This will be my first time without a protector on a new phone. I usually take it off after the phone is about a year old though.
