Recently my wife and I both had to do a warranty exchange on our Berry's (I have an 8300, she has an 8310)...after using desktop manager to transfer from one phone to another we've been trying to sort out getting each other back on the bb messenger contact lists. but for some reason, it's not working.
I sent her an add request...and vice versa...only they're both still showing up as pending and neither one of us has actually recieved the respective add requests so we can accept it.
What have we screwed up/done wrong? We didn't have this problem when we initially set up each other on our respective contact lists (on our originally berry's) but now we do.
It sounds likely, or a possibility, that the old pins are still associated with your account.. perhaps call your carrier and see what they have listed?
Try going into advanced options , host routing table and select any of the items listed , click the bb button and choose register now. You should receive a message that the handheld was registered on the network. See if that helps
