    I love the Bedside Mode which stops flashing lights and email notifications, but I'd like a little more control over what is allowed through.
    I can currently have phonecalls but would like to give permission for text messages as well. If my teenager is out at night and needs to text me or my security system wants to tell me an alarm has been tripped at the office, text permission is the only way to go.

    More customization options would be a good thing. Why not have a checklist of notification types and let the user decide?

    totally agree with you on this... let us chose which phone calls and which messages get through even while in bedside mode.
