With 10:3 already been leak i've been looking at my Z10 thinking that this phone is starting to look very outdated does anybody else feels the same or is it just me?

Well, I've had mine since 1st February last year and I've never been happy with a 24 month contract so I have to say, I'm thinking of just buying a Z30.

It may feel out-dated to you, if you've had it a while...? I had a Z10 for over a year before I recently got my Z30. Yes, of course, everyone gets used to, and maybe a little tired of, their day-to-day phone. Its no different to a pair of new shoes. But whenever I felt that way, it wasn't long before I was with people with iPhones, which look like toys and IMO have the outdated ios software that has just been made prettier recently, with not much different to what it was 2 years ago.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side, I guess is my point.

Interesting that you say that. While it's one person's opinion, I have to say that I showed my Z10 on Saturday to someone who was blown away by how "sleek/futuristic/nice" it looked - Was stunned that it was a Blackberry. I handed it over to her and she played with it for about 5 minutes inquiring about everything. By the way, she's a member of the itribe looking to upgrade her phone. :-)

All in all, I'm digging my the look of my phone and with the constant upgrade in OS, I couldn't be happier.

I love the look of my Z10! I absolutely love the feel of the battery door with it's soft/rubberized-like texture. The size is perfect for me (I never wanted to go above a 4" screen, so 4.2 was pushing it) - it could go for some updated internals, maybe squeeze a few more hours out of the battery (I don't mind a slightly thicker device to compensate for a larger battery), better external speaker, but the size, shape and look of the device overall is still classy, IMHO.

I actually agree with OP a bit. I love the OS and the feel of the phone, but the huge bezels and space above and below the screen make it seem a bit old. I mean, there's a quarter inch of dead space above and below the screen. I love the BlackBerry logo under the screen, but the plastic pieces could be slimmed down.

Did you expect it to morph into the newest and greatest thing while you owned it?

You must go through a new home, wardrobe, car, television set, and self-makeover every year if a 14 month old phone looks "outdated" to you.

Why? It looks as good as new to me - aside from some slightly more shiny edges.

There aren't many ways a touchscreen phone can look, to be honest it looks as good as ever.

Unless one has a sticky palm or fingers, there needs to be some "slop" that allows one to hold the phone and not block the screen. Where would some of these designers move the camera, led and flash. I guess the speaker could be moved.

You could add a vinyl skin on your phone so it look better that way it will feel more refreshing. I admit that the basic black does look a little boring after a while. Just a little...
