Is this something that just started happening, or did you get the phone in that condition?
Did you install a new OS or app and it started to do this?

    Try using the Apploader:
How to Reload the Operating System on a Nuked or Bricked BlackBerry | CrackBerry.com
    http://forums.crackberry.com/tips-ho...ckberry-32322/

The trick is to catch the phone as it is trying to boot up when the device with be detectable by the loader program. It doesn't have to be fully booted, just somewhere in the process at the point the core system can be detected.

which autoloader should i use for the 9850? any suggestions

I would download the current version for your 9850 per carrier to simplify the recovery attempt.
OR you can download the oldest, out-of-the-box, version. This may help if the issue is due to something wonky in the current release OS.

Check you carriers OS upgrade page for links to the software versions.

.861 works best for me,,, several fixes & very snappy,,, there's a higher version but it brought back the audio bug & was quirky when texting in predictive mode,,, search the forums...

Remember to delete the vender.xml file(s).

i have another question, as stated above i also have a Z10 would i be removing the vendor file for the Z10 or the 9850

Does not matter, delete ALL vendor.xml files found on your computer. As for the BBDTM, you already have app loader on the device. I recommend using it and not the actual desktop manager.

When you download and install the OS package, it also deposits the Apploader on your computer.
When it installs and launches Desktop Managers, just close it out and then reboot the computer. At this point the OS is now added to the list of OS' on your computer available to load on a BlackBerry.
Review the two links I posted earlier:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe.../#post10144990
As in the instructions it tells you where to find and how to use the apploader file on your computer to start the process.
Specifically read and follow steps in:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/tips-ho...ckberry-32322/
Delete the vender.xml files before you run the apploader, otherwise it will not run the OS install if your phone is on a different carrier.
The removable of vender.xml(s) will allow the apploader and Desktop Manger / BlackBerry Link to see ALL OS version you have installed and allow you to then select the install the one you want even if it is not for your phones cell carrier. If left in, then those programs will only see an OS for your phone cell carrier.
